Privately held organization is looking for an experienced controller to join their team. Great opportunity to run the day-to-day corporate accounting functions for this growing company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall corporate accounting functions including consolidations, financial reporting, and monthly/quarterly/annual close.
- Review and analyze monthly performance. Identify variances and trends that may directly impact bottom line.
- Champion a strong accounting team. Mentor and counsel employees to achieve a cohesive work environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on long term planning. Assist with internal and external reporting.
- Identify and implement improved processes. Identify areas for process automation and other software enhancements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and advice.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualified Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA strongly desired
- Big 4 experience preferred
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience
