Exciting Atlanta based Organization seeks Sr. Business Analyst, Process Improvement and Operations. This position will provide support within newly created internal consulting department. This position provides excellent opportunity for individual with consulting/process improvement experience to utilize their expertise with minimal travel.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Partners with senior and department management and cross-functional teams in determining and defining business need/requirements; project plans, risk assessments, communication, implementation, training and change management
  • Manages the business and project team expectations including addressing project issues, changes; May directly supervise staff members in the development, implementation and support of applications and business processes to meet the client’s business requirements.
  • Driving the requirements gathering efforts for a project (either development or implementation), including managing the expectations of the project manager, the stakeholders, the project team and executive management.
  • Consulting with cross-functional managers, project managers, management and customers to ensure that all projects undertaken adequately address requirement related issues.
  • Proposing alternatives and solutions to requirements management for each project that most closely aligns with the specific timetables, objectives and business issues at hand.
  • Establishes and reports on metrics of assigned projects to gauge business value (ROI); Audits and evaluates implemented projects (systems/processes, for example) to support continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field
  • 5+ yrs business experience and/or management consulting preferred
  • Proficient in business process evaluation and procedure development; Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all tools, processes, methodologies and standards for requirements gathering, documentation and analysis.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, leadership and teamwork skills; Demonstrated experience in process improvement and/or SDLC and project management methodology
  • Prior supervisor experience required

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that all projects are in alignment with the goals of the organization and use expertise in strategic thinking, process design and quantitative analysis to drive successful and major improvements in the companies overall key business areas.
  • Manage the development and delivery of new business processes and systems ensuring a comprehensive change management program including change readiness, stakeholder engagement, organizational alignment, communications and training. 
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and organize into initiatives that are prioritized based on business need and the delivery of other strategic company focused initiatives.
  • Provide direction and leadership on all aspects of business process improvement efforts.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and managing large cross functional projects which includes developing the communications strategies, stakeholder engagement, end user training programs, and driving relevant change management activities with the affected business partners both in and outside of core business unit
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations and written documentation to all levels of the organization to communicate the various aspects of operations initiatives, including goals, timelines and detailed updates.

    Develop a tactical strategy for the company’s operations business processes that links to overall company strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar field
  • MBA Preferred but not required
  • 10+Years of related worked experience
  • Hands on experience in leading significant change management initiatives in large, complex organizations

Fast Growing Based International Public Company is seeking a Vice President of Global Tax.  This executive level, challenging role will direct the company’s overall tax function including income, transaction and international. This position will also partner with business leaders and act in a consultative role to senior management on tax matters to facilitate decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement and direct the companies’ tax strategy, including business operations and legal entity structuring, planning vehicles, etc.
  • Accurately forecast annual effective tax rate and cash tax obligations
  • Review tax implications of new transactions, including contracts, business ventures, M&A tax due diligence, evaluation, planning and implementation
  • Responsible for Federal, State, Local and International income tax compliance.
  • Oversee all federal and state income tax accounting with comprehensive understanding of FAS 109 and FIN 48.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize tax structures consistent with business needs and developments.
  • Analyze and review appropriate response to federal and regulatory taxing authorities.
  • Prepare and review income tax disclosures for public filings.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.

Qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Masters in Tax preferred, CPA Required
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in public accounting and corporate tax accounting with specific responsibilities in International tax and Big 4 Experience
  • Experience analyzing tax implications of mergers and acquisitions is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience working in large public company with an International presence
  • Experience managing Treasury function is a plus
  • Strong management experience with demonstrated leadership developing an effective team, including hiring and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a certified implementation training program for large accounting firms, fortune 500 companies and many other clients.
  • Lead training sessions primarily focused on the OneSource Provision product and the implementation of the product.
  • Work with Client to determine future software enhancements and plan engagements and timelines
  • Develop and continue to enhance current training materials to ensure materials are up to date with system enhancements and current tax guidelines.
  • Ability to review client instances of ONESOURCE Provision and make recommendations for more efficient use in a live environment
  • Maintain and administer surveys and other information in order to meet NASBA CPE requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters in Tax preferred
  • 6-8 Years related experience in working with Tax Provisions using TaxStream or OneSource provision software

  • Manage complete month end close process including financial statements, general ledger, balance sheet analysis and all internal reporting.
  • Work alongside other departments Managers to provide a streamlined reporting process and gain a full understanding of how each area impacts the accounting function.
  • Perform accounting research on current and future company transactions and provide recommendations on accounting treatment
  • Implement/coordinate monthly reporting process that provides detailed analysis of corporate standing including revenue, expenses and capex and present to Senior Team members.

  • Conduct any ad hoc analysis or special projects as requested by Controller or other management.

Qualifications:
